Hi,

I've just finished a new free stairs macro for POV-Ray which is designed to 
enable you to add a staircase to a POV-Ray scene with the minimum of fuss.
It can be downloaded, along with documentation from 
http://www.geocities.com/povstairs/.

The staircase can be controlled by setting a few simple variables, but 
everything has a default setting, so that you can generate a staircase 
straight away.

To get a straight flight of stairs you just need to specify the coordinates 
of the bottom and top of the flight of stairs and POV-Stairs will do the 
rest (You can of course easily override the default width and whether it's 
carpeted etc.). You can also specify a sequence of positions and POV-Stairs 
will create multiple flights of stairs joined by landings.
